I am an independent tutor looking to fill th minds of students who are willing to learn. I worked as a tutor for 6 years at a community college and earned a Level 1 certified tutoring title.
I enjoy seeing the once clouded, now clear expression on a student's face when they come to the understanding of how a problem.
He is able to explain difficult concepts in ways so they are easy to understand. Great tutor!
I like to build a repport with the student. It's good to make them feel comfortable so they are able to ask questions and to have an effective session. Otherwise, the student nor the tutor will get the most out of a session if both parties are nervous and anxious.
I have an Associates in Science and following that, I tutored for the college I graduated from. Every school year we held tutor training twice, to learn new techniques and or learn about the progress of the school.
While working as a tutor at a community college, you interact with a wide variety of students; younger and older.
Make sure they are the right fit for youa and the way you take in information.
Examine thoroughly about what you really have issues with, regarding the problem you have. That way, you know what to ask.
