As a rising junior at Duke University pursuing a B.S. double major in Computer Science and Economics, I am excited to leverage my skills and passion for working with students to contribute to the success of their academic journeys.
As a computer science and economics student, I have honed my analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities, which I believe are invaluable skills in tutoring students. Moreover, my interdisciplinary background enables me to approach challenges from multiple perspectives, providing a holistic approach to learning that can benefit students.
In addition to my strong academic foundation, I have gained practical experience working with students through various leadership roles on campus. I have served as a teaching assistant for introductory mathematics courses, where I assisted students in grasping complex concepts and provided individualized guidance. This experience has allowed me to refine my communication skills and develop strategies to adapt to diverse learning styles. Furthermore, I have volunteered as a mentor for high school students, supporting them in their college preparation and academic pursuits.
