I was an elementary, middle, and high school math, chemistry, biology and geometry teacher for the past 17 years in Turkey. In my country teachers are not separated into elementary, middle, and high school teachers so I worked with students of all ages. I have a masters degree in biophysical science. Math is an important part of this subject. I have been living in the USA for almost 4 years. I am teaching elementary, middle and high school students as a volunteer to get my teaching certification. I teach European standards. I never push them to understand subjects they don’t get. I walk them through it and then, I give them the key. I believe in my knowledge, passion and ability. It doesn't matter what goal my student wants to reach, I will get them there. I always start with his or her weaknesses. Math and Geometry are sequence subjects. If you have a problem with any part of this you will have a hard time in the future.

At the beginning I test student depending on his or her grade. If student has many weaknesses I start from 5th grade math. If student has few weaknesses we fill out all areas at first. Each week I has a test with my students. All programs are based on curriculum but my way is to finish curriculum early and doing much memorize.
Most of the time my classes are private. Number of classes are depend on student or parent. But each class is 2 hours.(It can be long but doesn't effect my price) My price for per class is $60. ($30 for per hour)
17 years ago I taught my neighbor as a friend and she discovered my passion and teaching ability. She got full scholarship and high score. After than I started to teach school. Last 10 years I worked with high level students and prepared them to national and international olimpiads. I also worked with weak students.
All kind of students.
I am teaching a boy who is 10th grade now. We started 4 months ago and yesterday he took exam at Chattohooche high school and he passed even as a 11th grade. His math is 97% and it makes me very exited.
