About
I have a Masters in Special Education, which allowed for me to have extensive experience and practical knowledge about how to individualse learning for each and every student.I have extensive experience in special education, coordinating and developing curriculum as well as personalised education plans for students with disabilities. I am particularly passionate about women's rights, self-advocacy, progression, and significant contribution to the world of special education and education as a whole. Having significant experience working in children's homes and schools, I developed a special education school in The Bahamas, the first of its kinds that revolves around transition skills, individualised education, and functional capabilities. I am also familiar with utilising technology in order to give my students the best possible education. Although special education is my preference, I have also worked with mainstream students for typical subjects, English being my favourite.
I love getting to know students, and watching them achieve on both an educational and personal level. I look forward to being able to help people with their personal goals. I have been working with students for many years in a variety of settings- from orphanages, special education schools, to mainstream schools - all of which have provided a new perspective on how to help each child as an individual.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I normally start working with students by getting to know them on a personal level - understanding what motivates them, what inspires them and of course what challeneges they have. I then come up with a comprehensive comprehensive progression plan in order to facilitate the student reaching his or her potential.
