Jenna Roche

Hello,

I am a current certified Kindergarten teacher in Tampa, Florida. I have 8 years of teaching experience. I taught Reading and Math Resource for 6 years. I worked with students from kindergarten to 8th grade when I taught Resource. I currently teach Kindergarten. I am responsible for teaching my students Reading, Writing, Math, Social Studies, and Religion.

I attended the University of Massachusetts and graduated with my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. After graduating I attended the University of South Carolina for graduate school and earned my Master of Arts in Teaching Special Education degree. I am currently certified in the state of Florida in the areas of Special Education and Elementary Education. What I love most about being a teacher is helping all learners succeed including students who are gifted or need tier 3 interventions to help with their learning. I am always looking to attend professional development classes to improve in the field.

I am proficient in Microsoft 365, Google Suite, and iWork. I also have experience working with the SuperKids reading program, McGraw Hill Math, and the Bridges learning program, as well as Scholastic Science and Social Studies articles. I will do an excellent job because I believe in positive reinforcement, as well as having clear expectations, and helping students think deeply by using a variety of teaching strategies.
