Student-oriented focus - I meet the student where they are and we work with the student and their current level of understanding. Outstanding explanation of concepts and skills - There are about 4 or 5 ways that you could solve every single math problem. I am usually good to give them the different ways until we find one that "sticks" witht he student. In the online environment, I use "their problems" when working with a student and I am marking up their work virtually.
