Lifelong Learners
About
Lifelong Learners was created because its founder, Ian Bagent, loves to learn. In addition to actual tutoring to improve competency, it is the company's mission to inspire its students to learn; in effect, to become lifelong learners. Ian has had an extensive background in tutoring as a hobby, and only recently has begun to offer it as a service.
With a Bachelor's in Science in Arabic with a minor in French from the United States Naval Academy, Ian has dealt with rigorous courseloads in both humanities and STEM classes. With twelve years and five years of experience in French and Arabic respectively, Ian is more than competent and able to teach anyone studying these languages from a beginner to the undergraduate level, and is able to teach STEM subjects through high school level. In addition, while narrow, Ian also has experience coding in Python and has published several programs on GitHub and LinkedIn dealing with Mahcine Learning, Artificial Neural Networks, and Natural Language Processing.
If you want extra help in your studies and enjoy being taught by someone truly excited by these topics, sign up now and become a Lifelong Learner!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will start with a brief introduction of myself then ask for the same from the student. I try to get a quick picture of what kind of student they are - are they visual, auditory, or kinesthetic learners? What kind of study habits do they have? Do they work better under pressure, or with long deadlines? Do they study right after school or in the evening, if at all? What does their schedule look like that may pose challenges to studying? What are their teachers like, and what qualities do they like most in a teacher? After gathering as much information as possible, I will then develop an outline describing how we will proceed with future lessons.
