I am a certified English teacher with over 10 years experience teaching English/Language Arts to multi-grades. I make each sesson personable and focused, this way the student feels comfortable in the environment. I draw upon the students strengths to help them over come their weakness in academics.

I will interview the student the parent to find out the goals and needs for the student.

How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching when my children were small. I always loved to watch my students feel the feeling of success.

I have worked with all kinds of students. I worked students that disabilities to students that are on top of their grade level.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
One of my fond moments is when a student comes back to me a year or two later thanking me for all I have done for them.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a tutor in your area of expertise?
Interview the tutor to make sure they have your best interest in mind. Also, make sure the student and tutor have a good personality connection.
