O'Keeffe, MBA PhD English Language Tutoring
About
Teaching for 19 years, I have learned that the person DOING is the person learning, so I allow my students to DO a lot of speaking, questioning, and reading during each session. My goal is always to first show, then to collaborate, and finally to provide feedback. My current students appreciate that I teach English through discussion on topics as diverse as how the GDP is reported, Airbnb's decision to ban house parties, and the problem with most elementary school's reading curriculum.
My Education:
BA English Literature
MA Liberal Studies
Graduate Certificate Professional Writing
MBA General Management and HRM
PhD Texts and Technology: Digital Media Track
I enjoy the collaboration with students as well as celebrating their victories as they achieve short term goals and long term goals.
