What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
When you are looking for an instructor, ensure you are looking for someone who can address your individual needs. Your instructor should make you feel like they have your best interest in mind. It is also important that you feel motivated and feel safe to make mistakes in front of your instructor so you can learn from errors and fix them.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What are my skill gaps?
How can you help fill in the gaps I have?
Will you teach using different styles of learning? Ex: Audio, Visual or hands on.
