I guarantee all my students the most effective results by the second time we meet. I value each individual student as their own person, as I understand that everyone learns differently and retain information differently.
I have been working with youth ages 5-18 for 7 years now. I specialize in both the english and math department of education. I have been a hire on tutor for Orange county Public schools as an Algebra 1 in classroom assistant, so I have worked in the dynamic of a classroom setting. I enjoy the student engagement and all the different personalities!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first thing I like to do when working with a new student is learning each other. I believe in order to get the best results, the student and my self must have a since of connection in order for us to build trust within each other. I want to get to know the student in a way in which im able to get the full potential of my student. Then we talking about the goals the student wants to achieve by the end of the sessions. Then we begin to work on the assinment that we will focus on for that day.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an AA degree in general studies and an ongoing Bachelors degree in Social Work. I've worked with City Of Orlando as a youth counselor; Orange County Public Schools as a Tutor; City Year Orlando as a youth coach; and YAP as an at risk youth advocate.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
For each session I charge $40/hr. If the student becomes a regular I will do $250 a month for unlimited sessions.
