I feel it is important to achieve balance between being challenged, not afraid to fail but also to celebrate each success!! The process of learning is a gift and worthwhile as it leads to knowledge which nourishes the mind and spirit.
I love seeing the excitement which unfolds when something new is learned by a student. It brings a great amount of happiness to witness this realization. The passion I hold for helping young minds is the most important thing I can do to establish the goal I have of teaching what I know. I am proud of that!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will ask what the best method of contact would be for them, then reaching out and getting to know them. "Breaking the ice" is important to work on developing a level of comfort.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I possess a Bachelor of Art degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Central Florida where my focus areas were Public Affairs, Letters and Languages and History.
