I believe that every child is a reader, they just need to be given the right tools at the right pace to achieve their goals. I am passionate about a strong phonics base of knowledge and I try to make the learning fun for the child. I have high expectations for my students and want the very best for them!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I want to get to know them and their history - what has worked and what hasn't. What they like and don't like, what their strengths and weaknesses are, and what they want for themselves!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a teacher for over 20 years, with heavy experience in the special needs field. I have a strong phonics and reading background and have worked with many students with Autism, behavior challenges, academic challenges etc.
I have a bachelor's of Business Administration from George Washington University and a Masters in Educational Leadership from American College of Education. I am licensed to teach in the United Kingdom and here in the United States, specifically Florida.

I charge $40.00 per hour.

I have worked with students from Kindergarten up through 8th grade.
