I am a high school student at Miami Lakes Educational Center currently looking to offer my services wherever I can. I think I stand out because as a student I can usually relate to what the student is going through and they feel more comfortable talking to me as opposed to a teacher or adult.
I enjoy being able to help others while at the same time I am always finding ways to expand my own personal knowledge.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Get to know the student so we are more comfortable working with each other. See what resources they have available and what they need help with to ensure we can help the student understand.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a high school senior and as apart of the National Honors Society program I am used to tutoring highschool students.
How did you get started teaching?
First make sure I understand the topic then see what the student knows and doesn't know. I then work my way from there.
What types of students have you worked with?
Mostly high school students but I have worked with a few elementary school students with basic homework help.
