I’m a mom, spouse and teacher. I have 3 girls that currently work online through FLVS. I have a Montessori credential and have experience teaching for the MDCPS system. I found my passion for helping students that struggle with Reading and Math while working as an Interventionist several years ago.

Hello, my name is Nakyah Smith. I am a recent Florida A&M University graduate. I currently work as a math interventionist at a local middle school. I love math and I love to help students succeed in their math classes!!

I've worked as a UI engineer for big-name mobile apps like Yelp, YouTube Kids, and Android System UI. Before that, I received by BS in Computer Science with minor in Music Technology from Georgia Tech. So, I know what it takes for a child to succeed: an understanding of fundamentals. That's what I aim to provide.
