About
I teach in a flexilbe yet firm manner, and help the students discipline themselves so that they can improve their standing as students.
I enjoy assisting the students improve themselves. Have been teaching for over 20 years. Was a former public and private school teacher, but now I am a private tutor.
I find it is more effective to get through to the student in a one-on-one setting, in comparison to a traditional class setting with 30+ students.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
There was a student who had dropped out of school and needed his GED to get a job and move on with his life. He also had problems with drugs, gangs, and so forth. After a year of working with him, he passed the GED, and got a job as a marine mechanic. He moved out of his house and now lives with his girlfriend. We have stayed in touch, and we are good friends.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Don't simply look for the price of the session; you must look to see if the tutor is a good fit.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Is this tutor a good fit for me?
