Experienced Elementary And Special Education Teacher, With A Masters In Psychology

My approach as both an educator and tutor is the Student lead approach; which assesses the student to draw out where they require help and what strengths they already acquire. The student lead approach boasts each with confidence to succeed, by allowing each the ability to actively be involved in thier learning. Students that acquire the ability to lead the direction of thier education stay engaged where learning becomes easier, as students no longer visualize school as being hard or disconnected from thier lives. But, rather use strategies that promotes the student indirectly and promote their learning process, enhances academic achievement and improves the development of important learning skills, such as critical thinking and problem solving,  Each lesson is focused around one's strength, and generates lessons that engage student success, by tailoring each lesson around specific needs and incorporating a learning style based off one’s strength. 
As I am competent in teaching each diverse need of the student, acquired board training with over 250  district hours in training over a year span and actively reflective my teaching style to create a learning environment that engages active learners and captures their interest to incorporate into thier academics. My ability to find what' envokes the engagement to occur in one's learning, success begins and even the most boisterous student will become focused and want to learn. 
My promise to each student,  that I will fully assess your areas of strength and implement lessons that envoke your mind, increases your motivation, facilitates critical, and creative thinking. I hold the ability to analyze what academic goals one is in need of and keep data that will target your progress and also providing positive feedback that will enhance the quality of your learning. I will establish lessons that will promote  grades that improve more than one letter grade. I am here to meet your academic needs, and incorporate confidence to succeed both in academics and life. 

I have a BA in Elementary and Special Education and Masters in Psychology. I have over 5 years experience as a certified teacher, working with all students who have learning disabilities, ADHD, and Spectrum Disorders. I am a highly effective teacher, by my district and state. I hold a strong background in ABA, and childhood disorders.
