I am not a business! I am one person who is extremely passionate about every child getting the tools necessary to be successful. My mom is a long time teacher (13+ years) and is a mentor to me. I started college at 15, I have a perfect on my ACT english, and I graduated high school with 63 college credits already completed. I want to show students that they can make school work for them. I prioritize communication with parents so we have a game plan for your child's success. I would love to help your student reach their full potienal.
Seeing the 'Ah-ha' moment for students is an unbeatable feeling. Plus- when they realize they can be themselves around me and not have to hide what they deem "silly" questions, is the best feeling of success.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When I first meet a new student, I'll spend a few minutes talking with them about their interests so they feel more comfortable with me. This also allows me to make the teaching more applicable to what they like. I like to talk to the student about myself too, and answer any questions they may have. Then depending on what we're studying, I will have them run through the problem, and address the questions/issues as they come. I am a huge fan of hands on. I know what it's like to struggle with attention disorders, so if your student needs to stand, fidget, etc, I will make it work.
