My sense of humor,my Master's Degree in ESOL, my ability to connect with people, and my years of experience at the high school level and the adult education level allow me to stand out as an excellent teacher/tutor. In Pinellas County I instituted an ESOL class and program at two libraries. I havee tutored many students one on one. I taught in Collier County, FL for 18 years

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I do an assessment to determine what level of English the student has obtained. I have an ELL assessment that is both written and spoken. I find working two or three times a week is a great start.
I have many materials including books, computer programs, newspapers, and supplemental materials.
