Joanna Marshall

I am a UCLA graduate with B.S. and M.S. degrees in Biochemistry, and 3 years of classroom experience teaching high school biology and chemistry, including AP Biology. I have also tutored individual students ranging from middle school to college in a variety of science and math subjects. I am a friendly, enthusiastic, and motivated educator who aims to make authentic connections with students and help them feel supported and confident in their academic journey. I am skilled at breaking down complex problems into easier to understand pieces, and helping each student figure out which learning and studying method is right for them.
