About
I am a rising senior at Pomona College studying Applied Mathematics and Computer Science and I love to help people not just master material they thought they could never understand but to enjoy it, to have fun with it. In my tutoring practice I work towards mastery, making sure the student will be able to teach the subject to someone else in the same capacity. All the while I try to make it enjoyable. Most people are immediately put off by Math and while I've always found it to be quite fun, If I can't imbue my same passion for it in my student than I haven't done my job.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I begin by trying to assess what their learning style is like, whether it's more auditory, practical, etc. Then I begin to teach according to their learning style to best help them learn the material. I offer a trial session where I will only charge for a first session with a new student if they decide I'm a good fit and will continue to work with me.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am one year shy of a degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science at Pomona College and as such have completed many courses in these disciplines as well as taken an intensive workshop on math education.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge only 25$ per hour as I understand I am still an undergraduate student.
