About

I believe in learning about my students before trying to teach them. Everyone learns differently. Some students prefer getting straight to the point while others prefer explanations in detail. Understanding your learning style lets me cater your tutoring experience to your needs.

I love seeing my students get into their dream colleges. That's why I started teaching. I don't want Math to be the reason you are unable to attend a top university.

I also believe that each of you is already intelligent. It's not your fault that Math is weird and/or your teachers aren't cutting it. But you're here and ready to learn, which is everything you need to crush Math and get yourself into college.

Jet taught me 2 years ago but I recently came across his tutor.com page and just wanted to say he’s a reliable tutor. Fast replies and goes into as much detail as you prefer.

Jet actually tried to understand how I like to learn and tutored me the way I wanted. He tutors full time so hes really flexible with his schedule. Also a patient guy. He doesnt try to rush you but is fast at responding and makes the most of your time.

Frequently asked questions

First, I ask you about your learning style. Do you prefer detailed explanations or quick tips? Do you prefer visuals, words, or Facetime/phone? Etc.

Then, I ask you what your needs and goals are. I will recommend a tutoring schedule accordingly and help you achieve your goal.

Once I understand your learning preferences, I will strive to cater the tutoring experience to you.

I am an honor roll student at the University of Southern California. I aced AP Calculus B/C and Algebra/Trigonometry/Pre-calculus Honors.

I worked at the West End House Boys & Girls Club for 4 years and taught math to students aged 7 to 18.

My first 30-minute lesson is free.

After that, my hourly price is $50.

I grew up attending the West End House Boys & Girls Club. When I got older, I wanted to give back to the community by teaching math at the club. That experience helped me discover my passion for teaching.
