Hello and thank you for stopping by! I feel that I have a very unique approach to helping people learn because I believe in edutainment. If we can have fun while we learn, number one, it is a lot more fun, and number two, we want to do more of it! :D
I would love to help you whether you need assistance in algebra (or lower math), English reading, writing, comprehension, speaking, etc, science of any type, (I have an extensive medical background, as well), IELTS and OET preparation, also business-related classes, or even learning about entrepreneurship.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I believe every educational journey starts with assessment and goal-setting so everyone gets on the same page with respect to the end goal, the starting point, and the steps and time necessary to finish the journey. With that said, I have some solid assessments I use depending on the discipline I am tutoring in, and then based on the results, we can devise a learning plan to ensure success!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a native speaker, have been master certified to teach English as a Foreign Language, and have over 20 years experience teaching and tutoring in various subjects.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I believe continuity is the best plan for true learning, so I will customize a learning plan based on each student's needs and goals.
How did you get started teaching?
I have always had a deep passion for learning, which is why, even at age 49, I am still learning!
What types of students have you worked with?
I have lived and taught in China, Czechia, the US, Poland and Italy; both in-person and online. I love teaching business English, high school and college English, writing, speaking, listening, IELTS preparation, and general conversational English, as well as biology, chemistry, physics, algebra, reading comprehension, creative/persuasive writing, and SEL (social emotional learning).
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Always advocate for yourself. No one is going to be more vested in your education than you, and you deserve a teacher that fits into and catalyzes that plan.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
SMART goals...specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and time-sensitive goals will help the student ask the right questions of the right teachers. When a student can answer questions based on these goal parameters, they are highly likely to find a teacher that they will work well with to achieve their goals.
