Kids do not like getting tutored. Have you ever met a student who said ‘I want to get tutored!’. Probably not.
If there was no COVID-19 pandemic, then most students would attend school from six o’clock in the morning until about 3:30 in the afternoon; therefore, they have to get up, shower, brush their teeth, etc. By the time they get home from school, they have homework anywhere from 30 minutes to five hours, depending upon whether they’re in Elementary School, Middle School or High school, or in some cases have extracurricular activities. By the time they've finished their homework, it could be as late as 2 AM and have to repeat the cycle daily! That is not a healthly cycle!
What if there was a way to develop a process to shorten that amount of time, as to improve student mental health because they would have fewer tutoring hours!
We know most organizations offer tutoring for two hours a day, five days a week as if it were a gym membership.
What if that was reduced from ten hours down to two hours a week?
To understand the process, we assist student with the development of their study skills and study habits.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
On the first session with a student, we will spend the first 10 minutes to get to know them as an individual, assess their current standing in the course, and design a plan of action to get the student from their current understanding to their desired understanding and beyond. Since each student is starting from a different place in life and has a completely unique learning style, we will adapt accordingly and customize the teaching process in order to suit those needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a seasoned educator, I decided to work for Miles Smart's sales team since I believe in their approach and their high caliber of tutors. The Miles Smart Tutors include Ivy league graduates and successful professionals who are subject matter experts in the topics they tutor. Our approach is to connect a student with a tutor who has the expertise to help with the topic in the style the student learns.
