I have a degree in Music Education and currenntly work as an Instructional Assisstiant in a private school. I can work with kids of many ages and different backgrounds.
I enjoy helping kids to connect the dots and understand things in a way they haven't been able to before.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will spend the first session evaluating the student to get the best possible idea of where they are at. I will ask them (and their parents) what they hope to get out of working with me. I will ask them a few questions to see what kind of learner they are and what strategies I think will work best for them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in Music Education and a teaching certificate in Music. I currently work with special needs students and can modify instruction as needed.
