I recently graduated from UW with a math degree, so I understand what it feels like to be a student. I focus on explaining things in simple, easy to understand terms.
I've always enjoyed math, and it's a rewarding experience to help other people learn. Math can be frustrating, and it's always much easier and less stressful when you have help.

I had a great experience!! Shogo Starr (from General Math Tutoring) has extensive knowledge in many different areas/classes of math. He is a very patient and effective tutor and was able to quickly identify where I went wrong with math problems when I didnt even know what was happening. He is very kind but also direct with his study tips and advice and works neatly with steps that are easy to follow. I highly recommend working with him.
