Hi! I’m Sundus, a current high school and college student in the Running Start program with almost one year of tutoring experience, especially in K–8 math. I’ve worked with students from preschool through middle school, helping them build strong foundations in math and overall academic confidence. I’m also familiar with the math concepts covered on the ACT, including algebra, geometry, and trigonometry, and can help students prepare effectively. My experience includes tutoring at Kumon, working as a teacher assistant, and supporting students one-on-one. Because I’m actively working at Kumon, the material I teach is fresh and relatable. I tak

I'm just a high school kid, so I'm pretty chill. I'm available at virtually any time, and I'll always do my best to help with anything. It genuinely does make my day to know that I helped someone. Plus, I do genuinely enjoy math, so tutoring is always fun.

Hi, my name is Rita and I have been enjoying tutoring for many years. I have and continue tutoring K-12 students in subjects like math, reading, writing, science, SAT, test preparations etc. I take teaching as a challenge and will find different ways to teach until the student understands it, because we all learn differently and I don't believe in one teaching method fits all. I have worked with students with different needs like getting ahead in grade level, with IEPs, short term or long term. I will go above and beyond in helping students reach their immediate and/or long term goals with the parent/guardian input and work closely with them.

Chris Morris-Lent has helped my kids with everything from Pre-Calc and AP World History to ACT/SAT prep. He has a unique skill set with expertise in a wide range of subjects, along with the flexibility to alter his teaching style to best suit the student. He teaches not only academic subjects but also test-taking and studying strategies to streamline the students’ workload and improve test scores. Chris has a very relaxed style, with professional, high standards (in both business and tutoring).

My situation was unique. I had serious epileptic seizures during high school resulting in multiple brain surgeries and a long, challenging recovery. Matt entered my life during this time; I still had assignments to complete before graduation and an impending SAT exam, so I met with Matt twice a week and learned the essential concepts of writing and reading comprehension. While math was my strong suit, Matt helped me identify some earlier math concepts that needed refreshing. My initial SAT score prior to my relationship with Matt was 1260, but, after tutoring, I received a 1510 and was accepted by my school of choice for pre-med studies. I continue to meet with Matt two or three times per week during my undergraduate studies for more advanced writing strategies. I cannot imagine a better academic mentor than I have found with Matt.

Ms. Diane is absolutely amazing. She was recommended when my son needed tutoring to increase his score on the SAT. My son was applying to a military academy and needed a higher SAT score to be competitive. With only two months to retake his SAT, combined with sports, regular school work, and school activities, Ms. Diane willingly took this challenge on and worked my son into her tutoring schedule. She was patient and caring, had a plan, was on time, and was very good at diagnosing what he needed to work on. As a result, he increased his score by 40 points in only two months with her tutoring assistance. This score was exactly what he needed to be competitive. I can only imagine what his score could have increased to if he worked with her earlier. I can't sing her praises enough. With her tutoring, she played a significant role in his acceptance to a military academy prep school. Thanks to her contributions, he is thriving at a military prep school and doing well. He is happy and looking forward to attending a military academy next year.
