About
I am very flexible with my hours. If you need a late-night study session before an exam, I can help. I also have experience with people with learning and mental disabilities.
I love helping people find a love for math. Math has a stereotype around it but once a person understands it they find joy in math.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, we will see what they're weaknesses and strengths are with the subject. Then we will see what our goals are and build a little plan to get there. That includes giving more time and dedication to struggling topics.

I am CRLA level 2 certified. I have worked on campus at Norco College as a one on one tutor and supplemental instructor. I have also had some successful group tutoring sessions.

My price varies but the range would be from 15-25.
How did you get started teaching?
When I took classes I would notice that it was easy for me to help my peers and they seemed to really benefit from my help. A professor asked me to be her in-class teacher aid and from there I saw a passion for helping others learn.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all types of student. From 1st graders to an older student pursuing a career. I have worked with people with autism, dyslexia, ADHD. I work with all type of major too.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Try not to feel overwhelmed. Normally a student feels about 90% less anxious after a tutoring session.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
They should have questions ready about certain topics. That way the teacher knows exactly what to focus on.
