I love teaching. The light that shows up in the eyes of a student when they finally make that connection to the subject is absolutely addictive.

I have been a tutor informally for ten years, helping friends and family understand important subjects. Not only did I pay very close attention in school (nerd, right?), I also achieved a 3.9 cumulative GPA in the years I went to university. I am well versed in a variety of subjects, and I have a unique gift for understanding text that allows me to reasonably explain even concepts I'm not very familiar with.

You will find that when I tutor, I avoid negative motivators like homework and rote memorization. If I can't make you interested in the material, I will at least making the learning fun with games, puzzles, and practice activities. You will be motivated by your own achievement with me, and less with threats of grades and tests, because real life does not have either of those.
