Sundus

Hi! I’m Sundus, a current high school and college student in the Running Start program with almost one year of tutoring experience, especially in K–8 math. I’ve worked with students from preschool through middle school, helping them build strong foundations in math and overall academic confidence. I’m also familiar with the math concepts covered on the ACT, including algebra, geometry, and trigonometry, and can help students prepare effectively. My experience includes tutoring at Kumon, working as a teacher assistant, and supporting students one-on-one. Because I’m actively working at Kumon, the material I teach is fresh and relatable.

I take time to understand each student’s goals and learning style. Whether you’re looking for quick homework help or want to fully understand a topic step-by-step, I’ll adjust my approach to match your needs. I also welcome parent input and can tailor my methods to align with family goals and expectations.

What makes me different is that I know what it’s like to struggle with math, I used to feel the same way. That’s why I’m patient, encouraging, and focused on helping students truly “get it” in a low-pressure, positive environment.
