About
I provide one on one tutoring which is very helpful for students as they can ask as many quastions as they want and not feel that they are holding up the pace for other students. It also help me as a tutor to pinpont what area of the subject needs most work. A student will learn quicker if the whole focus of the tutor is on one student rather than numerous students who might have a differnt kind of problem.
I am currently a student at Green river community Collage, persuing my Associates Degree in Science for Civil engneering. I am also run Track for GRCC and Coach Sprints at Xtreme Speed Track Club. I enjoy tutring and coaching a lot. I want guide and mentor the youth students and athletes as my coach mentored and guided me.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First part of the process with new student is to know what subject(s) does the student needs help in. What kind of challanges is the student facing in that subject(s).
The second step is just more information such as what are the acadamic goals of the student. What school is the student in.
Than we figure out a plan to achive the desired acadamic goals. For eg: Figure out what areas need most improvement. How many times a week the student needs to see me. Find out a convinent place for the tutoring session. It can be the student's residence, or a public library.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I satrted tutoring in Sophmore year of high school. I have had fun doing it ever since. I stared off with my cousin who took advanced classes in Middle School. Seeing his progress, I was recomended to a lot of other students from middle and elementry school. I started doing group tutoring which I realized is not helpful as it was recreating the environment of a classroom in which the student was not able to understand the subject in the first place.
I have also worked at Kumon for 2 years. My experience over there helped me to learn a lot about teaching.
Most of my students did not need a tutor for a long period of time as I also focus on the fundamentals, and skills such as self studying, and test prepration. It is important to foucus on these fields as in collage, it hard to find a tutor who could help you at higher level classes.
