What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, assess how much the student already knows.
Then, try a few tactics out.
After that, I try to spend enough time on each subject so that the student fully understands everything I teach.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Upper high school education and college level math courses as well as completion of Red Cross Child Safety courses.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge about $30 per hour, less if the student is in middle or elementary school.
How did you get started teaching?
I have always loved teaching children and started by helping teach algebra in middle school to my peers.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with middle schoolers, high schoolers, and dance students with ages that range from 3 to 12.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I am very happy about teaching 7 to 12 year olds a hip hop dance.
