Math Tutoring
About
I absolutely love helping people. I have always had this passion, and tutoring is a great outlet for me to do that. I am a very patient, articulate person who is able to explain things in a wide variety of ways. I have a deep understanding of basic math and algebra and work great with kids/ teenagers. I have been tutoring my younger siblings from a very young age, helping them get straight A's, giving me years of experiance. I grew in the Tri-Cities and currently live there. I have been a straight-A student my entire life, am currently attending college, and have my own start-up company, entering into multiple business competitions. I'm a very dedicated person and take my work seriously, I can guarantee that if you choose me as a tutor, I will get you phenomenal results.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I always ask students what their goals are. I find this to be very effective because it helps me to really understand how I can help them best. It also gets them thinking because sometimes they are unsure of what they really want out of tutoring. I like to use this goal and every session help the student see the progress they're making. This keeps the student motivated and confident.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've taken lots of math classes throughout my life and got straight A's in all of them.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I typically just charge by the hour. However, I'm a very fair, reasonable person. If for some reason I feel like I didn't do a good enough job or the customer isn't satisfied, I'm totally okay with not charging anything at all. For me it's not just about the money, I really do enjoy helping people. It's no fun if they didn't get anything out of it; I feel like I didn't do a good enough job.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching my siblings.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with my siblings but also friends too and random kids in my classes who need help.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Pick me :)
