## About

I recently graduated from the University of New Hampshire with an Ocean Engineering degree and now work full-time as an engineer. I have a strong grasp on all mathematical concepts up to Engineering Differential Equations. I feel passionate about teaching others how to succeed in their math and engineering courses. Since I currently exercise my math skills on a daily basis, I have the unique ability to relate to my students and understand the courses they are taking.

## Frequently asked questions

### What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Prior to each session my students will send me what they are currently working on, whether it be the name of their text book and a chapter, pictures of their teachers notes, or their homework assignment. This gives me a chance to review the material so that no time is wasted in the session. In sessions, they bring me their questions, whether it be on an overall topic or just a few specific problems they are struggling with. I will then work through the problems with them and hopefully give them new viewpoints on how to process and apply the material in ways they are not currently being taught.

### What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been through these classes recently, and have had an excellent understanding of them. I have also worked with tutors myself in the past and know what works best and what doesn't work well.
