I believe the learning process is enhanced by making connections between things we encounter during our everyday lives and things we encounter in our study times. Therefore, my teaching style focuses more on understanding applications and examples, and less on rote memorization of theory or textbook definitions.

I absolutely live for what I call "the light bulb moment." It is the precise moment when a student suddenly understands a difficult concept, and the student's eyes light up with triumph and pride. I always envision bright, shining light bulbs over my students' heads when these moments take place. It is the most rewarding aspect of tutoring.
