I love teaching. I have taught on both the high school and college level to all kinds of students. Retired after over 30 years.

I think I am differentiated from my tutoring peers due to my broad quantitative and business experience outside of teaching. I am a full-time math teacher and tutor based in the Williamsburg, Virginia area. I have experience tutoring elementary, secondary, undergraduate, and graduate students in math as well as areas of economics, strategic marketing, the international baccalaureate program, and collegiate entry exams. I find teaching incredibly rewarding. It makes me beyond happy to see a student thrive with my assistance. It's all in them!

I am a VA certified teacher (PK-6) in my 16th year of teaching. I also have my masters degree in Leadership in Math Education which certifies me to teach Math for K-8. The majority of my teaching career has been in 5th/6th grade math. Additionally, I have been privately tutoring students in grades 4-9 in various concepts of math for 10+ years.

I am a recent graduate of Mechanical Engineering Technology from Old Dominion University. I graduated with a 3.94 GPA, and I maintained my status on the Dean's list while I attended ODU.

I have a BS in Mechanical engineering, have been published in my field and have more than 5 years experience working in industry. I have experience with tutoring in both math and science and have a passion for education. I am a professional advisor for a High School Engineering club and look forward to helping other students find their passions whether for STEM or other fields.

We do only one-on-one tutoring, this is the best way to tutor a student. I have been in education most of my life and my Father was a Dean at a Univeristy and I was a VP of a Boston college and we have grown up students that were tutored the way we do it and it works. I retired 10 years ago and started Tutor A Team and we are not the largest and best tutoring in the Hampton Roads area!

Hello! My name is Kyle Chapman, I am currently a student at Norfolk State University. I’m working on a BS in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and after that I plan to get a masters degree in Physics. I am currently available to tutor any pre-calculus math, whether it’s counting 123’s or it’s Trigonometry. The great mathematician Katherine Johnson once said “There will always be science, engineering, and technology. So there will always, always be mathematics.” I look forward to sharing my enthusiasm about math and science with another person.
