About
I have a bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering and a minor in mechanical engineering. I focus on comprehension of concepts then memorization of solution techniques.
My tutor experience dates back to 2018 when I began volunteering at the Knoxville Boys and Girls Club. I tutored pro bono in 4th-7th grade math and science. I have also tutored Algebra, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and Linear Algebra.
During the day, I work remotely as a software engineer for a large tech firm. My hobbies include watching football, playing fps games on Xbox, and traveling.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I ask them for background on their topic and any sample work they may have. I research the method they are using in class so I can explain the solution process in lamens terms. I focus on the understanding of the topic, then the application.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an engineering degree where I had to apply advanced mathematics to real world applications.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
As a former student, I know how frustrating it can be to fall behind in class and spend lots of money to catch up. For this reason, my rate for Math under Calculus is $20/hr. Calculus 1 and higher will be $25/hr
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students ranging from 4th grade to college.
