About
I took IGCSE and IAL tests under Edexcel (British multinational education and examination body) in year 2018 and 2019 respectively. I've tutored elementary and middle school kids as well as IGCSE/IAL candidates. I'm currently a sophomore in college, pursuing an engineering degree.
I enjoy sharing my knowledge and love for maths and science with my students. I'm known to be a very patient, calm and collected individual who puts in every necessary effort to help my students and contribute in their academic growth and progress.
I guarentee better understanding on subjects. I try to show my students how a subject can be interesting.
I enjoy helping my students see why anyone would say mathematics or any science subject is their favorite subject.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Getting to know the student and the content they need help with. Get to know their understanding of the subject to know where to start from.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a couple years of experience.
How did you get started teaching?
Back when I was in 6th grade, I hated maths. That was mainly because I didn't like the teacher and I never understood her explanations on certain topics. In 7th grade, I grew to love maths because the teacher explained topics in a way I understood. My grades improved and I understood how important a teacher's way of teaching can effect the student's view on a subject.
It started off my helping my sibling do her homework and helping her before her exams. After my IGCSE, I started tutoring my neighbour's 9y/o daughter as a summer job but soon realized that I like doing it a lot more than I originally thought I did.
What types of students have you worked with?
Elementary, middle and even high school (freshmen and sophomore) kids.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Be upfront about your needs, talk about the timings. Make sure they are passionate about what they do.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
I believe if the student needs help with a certain topic, they should ask questions without any hestiation. It is the tutor's duty to help him/her as much as they can.
