About
Hello! I am a second year medical student and am passionate about teaching STEM subjects. I teach virtually which has been very beneficial for my students since I could record our meetings for them to review and easily schedule appointments. I would appreciate your support as I am a broke medical student!
I love when students are able to understand the method to the madness for difficult concepts!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First off, I ask the students how they learn best so I can tailor my teaching methods to best suit them. Next, I ask the student about the areas they need the most help with and what their academic goals are. If there are many knowledge gaps, I would ask them to rank the top 3 topics so we can start there. I would also be sure to match the pace of the student because I want to make sure they are able to follow along with the content.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been tutoring on tutors.com for over a year and have worked with dozens of students here. I also have experience working as a Learning Assistant for Organic Chemistry for 3 semesters during undergrad. Additionally, I worked as a STEM educator for the Children's Science Center and conducted Girl Scouts workshops for Engineering and Science badges for 2 years.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I have a standard rate I charge per hour, but I am willing to discuss price adjustments as needed. I am passionate about teaching and would love to be a part of helping you/ your child and their educational journey.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching my cousin math when I was in middle school and since then my passion and impact have grown.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students from elementary school all the way to college. I also have experience working with students with learning disabilities.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
An event I am fond of is how everyone came together during this pandemic at the clinic I work at. I have never seen so many people be so self-less and the doctors I have worked with will forever inspire me to act in the same manner.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure you are comfortable with the tutor. You should be able to tell your tutor to slow down or reiterate concepts because it is about you succeeding in your class!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What teaching style do you prefer and how often do you think you would need help during the week? How much time outside of class are you spending to learn the material?
