We initially do a cognitive skills and achievement test to determine the underlying cognitive weaknesses to learning. It takes about 1 hour and a day or two later, we meet for a consultation to go over how those scores compare to other people at the same age and how those skills relate in terms of years ahead or years behind in those skills.

There are supplemental tests that will be performed when training begins. This gives us very specific areas to strategize the training for each individual. We will do a mid term to review progress half way through the training.

At the end of training, we will do the entire battery of testing again to show parnets and the student where improvements have been made--an "apples to apples" comparison--in a graduation party!

One year after completing the brain training, we will do the entire battery again to show the retention rate of the training and to determine if more training is desired. (And we do this testing for free!)

All of our trainers are certified according to rigorous standards, tested/verified, hours of required observation of other trainers and background checked, prior to assigning students to them. While trainers come from various backgrounds, are different ages, most of them have 4 year college or Master degrees.

Programs are based on what is needed--see our website for specifics. Every student has a different cognitive profile so the amount of hours invested varies. The best program for the student, the amount of hours and the exact price is discussed at the consultation after the results are measured. We have payment plans as low as $65 a month, subject to credit approval.

Six years ago, our oldest desperately needed such a significant level of care and understanding around her learning disabilities that even the best person in the IEP program (And there were great IEP educators!) could not cover.

I actually did some of the training with her at home and it was such a revelation to watch her not be able to do so many things that other kid's her age had mastered. It changed the way I parented her. And it caught her up in so many areas, academically and socially.

We wqrk with children from 5 to senior adults. (Our most mature learner is 66 to date.) We address cognitive issues for ADD/ADHD, autism spectrum, dyslexia and traumatic brain injuries (usually sports related). We have had students increase their SAT scores by leaps and bounds, struggling students that are on the verge of givning up or have given up and very intellligent people get 10-15 points increase in their GIA/IQ. Some students have actually gained over 20 points!

We have a student with significant cognitive and reading issues beyond his dyslexia. His parents tried several reading programs, at great financial and emotional expense, to no measureable increase. Even after being in the IEP process from first grade -- he is on the Honor Roll at his middle school now thanks to our brain training!
