I am a high school student at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology with a passion for math and science.
I have successfully completed all math courses up to Calculus at TJHSST, with straight As. In addition, I have two years of experience tutoring young children in math and science areas.
My services include helping with general Elementary/Middle school schoolwork and specific math tutoring.
Math levels include:
-Basic Math and Arithmetics (Grade 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 math)
- Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry
Tutoring services include helping them with homework, helping them understand concepts presented in class, and working ahead of the class curriculum.
I am also willing to assist students to help them get into TJHSST and AOS (as well as other academies of Loudoun).
I am available all evenings after 6:15 p.m. during the workdays and flexible hours during the weekend.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The process begins with first evaluating student's strengths and weaknesses in order to address any concerns that might hold them back in class.
Students are expected to bring homework, tests, quizzes, and any other assignments that they are working on. I first ensure that they understand the basic concepts, then move on to practice problems. I answer any questions that the student may have, and can go over any graded work to help them learn from their mistakes. I make sure to ask questions throughout the session to make sure that they understand the material.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a junior at TJHSST currently studying Calculus.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $25 per forty-minute session, $30 per one-hour session and $50 per two-hour session.
