Ricard Tutoring

I am 17 years old and a senior at Robinson Secondary School in Fairfax County. I live very close to both Robinson Secondary and Oak View Elementary School, and my mother is a kindergarten teacher at Oak View. As a student, I feel I am better able to relate to and help fellow students, and see problems from a different perspective than teachers. This also means my availability is very similar to that of an average student.

The math subjects I am able to help with are basic and complex arithmetic, basic statistics, Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, and some Pre-Calculus and Trigonometry.

I have more experience in tutoring for Algebra 1 and beginning German, but I have more general tutoring experience as well, mostly through school.

I also am able to help with other subjects, such as elementary-level science, standard English (including reading, writing, and spelling), standard physics, standard social studies and history, and beginning levels of German, up to level 3.

I have maintained straight A's in all of my classes throughout middle and high school, and perform very well in all subjects, including math and German. Throughout my schooling, I have won a few awards in Math and English, as well as a "Most Dedicated Band Member" award in Band a certificate for my dedication, performance, and voluntary help in the Robinson German Program.
