About
I did my Masters in Quantitative & Computational Finance and worked as a software developer for 3 years prior to that. I love helping students with mathematics and introduction to programming. I like to adopt an intuitive approach to sessions which help the student to retain the concepts as opposed to going through a truckload of information with a low retention rate. I also like solving puzzles and finding innovative solutions to problems.
I have been good at mathematics ever since I can remember, I scored a 169/170 on my GRE test. I did my undergraduate studies from IIT (~1% acceptance rate), I did my Masters in Quantitative & Computational Finance. All of this has provided me with a rigorous exposure to various branches of mathematics and I would like to help out any one who's struggling.
I worked as a software developer for 3 years and solve coding problems on a daily basis. I would love to introduce people to the wonder of programming.
I enjoy, presenting the material in the most bare bones manner helping students get the underlying idea first and then proceed to the more complicated ideas/examples.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I often found the topics in the curriculum are presented in a pedantic manner. I believe people understand things better if presented in relation to things they already understand or see. I try to make the new topics relatable and simple in a bare bones manner and progress from there.
