I am very excited when my students get A's and when they point to a mistake I made. I feel they are awake and serious.
I enjoy helping these future heroes who will take over from our generation to continue keeping our country ahead of the rest of the world. My main pleasure and happiness is when a student comes on his own to tell me "thank you Mr. K. I got A or B in my test or quiz as I was struggling with this subject" Then I give him my five and clap my hands.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Assess him
look into his homework and see his approach in solving. This is kind of diagnostic him/her and take it from there
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Master degree from university of Birmingham in UK. Wireless engineer so I can give the students examples of where the use what they learn specifically geometry, pre calculus and calculus. Algebra is embedded in all of these subjects.
