I have been a student of SuperScholars since 2018. Every subject I have ever had and needed help with, I went to them. They are caring, patient and professional. I will graduate in 2020 and give them credit for helping me get there.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

We work with all students. We setup an appointment to have one on one with student and parent in person or virtually to discuss concerns and goals.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Over 25 years of education experience . Our teachers all have Bachelor Degrees, Certified and have experience in the area in which they tutor.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

For tutoring, our fees vary accordingly to the needs of the family. We have hourly fees, weekly fees and monthly fees.

For all test prep courses, our fees are $325 per 4 sessions. Including book, online access to exams and unlimited reviews with instructor

How did you get started teaching?

I have loved education since I can remember. I have never wanted to be anything except an educator. I am from a strong family of educators from teachers to principals to Superintendents. It is my lifes goal to help as many children as I can as long as I can.

What types of students have you worked with?

All types of students. Gifted, ESE, etc.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

We love when students return to us after years of graduation to say that we made an impact on thier lives. One of our more difficult students, was not fond of tutoring and did not want to get help. Came to us. Before we even started tutoring, we talked to the student for weeks. No charge to family. We wanted to gain trust. Now, this students, when he is home, comes and volunteers to tutor others.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Student must feel comfortable with teacher no matter how experienced the teacher is. Take the time to talk with him or her before securing services.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

Questions are personal to student. He or she will know what to ask because of thier experiences in education.
