Hi! I’m Jack, and I'm your new favorite German, history/social studies, and science tutor.

I’m a double-degree academic nerd (History and German, and I have a minor in political science). I recently graduated from Weber State University here in Utah, and have tutored student peers for 3 years, so I'm quite experienced. I also have multicultural experience having studied abroad in Germany 2 times during my undergraduate studies, and have been deeply immersed in that entire culture. Rest assured, I also am able to deliver in the science department, having had an interest in all things science related from Chemistry to Biology.

I specialize in helping students who feel overwhelmed, confused, anxious, or just straight-up bored by traditional instruction. My approach is to take complex ideas and break them down in a way that feels human, intuitive, and actually enjoyable. Whether it’s unpacking fascism with clarity, navigating European history’s chaos, writing essays (up to an undergraduate level) or finally understanding the difference between weil and denn, I can support all your needs!
