Chrissy's Math Tutoring

I love teaching Math and I genuinely care for each child! I will travel to you or we can meet at a library or other place so it will be easy for you and your student! You can call or text me anytime with quick questions when you need! I help students achieve quick and steady results. I love helping struggling students catch up and excel further ahead of their peers!

Experience: I have tutored for Sylvan Learning Center in Lehi, homeschooled 7 of my kids for 15 years, and I have been tutoring math for 5 years now.

Emotional Support Skills: I have worked with students who have dealt with trauma. I love helping students with reassurance and comfort while they heal. I personally have taken a lot of therapy and have developed a great understanding of how to help emotionally injured children to learn, process, and continue forward with their school work and achieve great progress while they process through trauma in their lives.

My Main Goals: My #1 goal is to instill confidence in each of my students while teaching them the foundational math concepts they need to succeed. Then I proceed to rapidly catch them up to their peers. And if the parents desire, I can help them excel further ahead of their peers.
