Project Read is an adult literacy learning center that is centered in Provo, Utah. We also have offices in South Salt Lake and Murray. We offer small classes, (labs), 3 times a day on Tues, Wed, and Thurs, to adults who have Reading or Math skills below a 7th grade level. Our program also includes individual, one-on-one tutors that meet with the students twice a week for 90 minutes each. The total cost of the program, including meeting with dedicated private tutors, is $20 annually. I graduated from BYU with a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. I taught kindergarten for 3 years and am now a stay-at-home mom. I enjoy helping students one-on-one because I can meet them where they are and tailor a lesson or activity specifically to them. While teaching, I worked as an all day kindergarten teacher with a class of students who entered kinder needing extra help and instruction.
