About
Hello! My name is Kyleigh and I am currently a college student studying Elementary Education. I started tutoring multiple subjects when I was in highschool, at the age of 16.
I can tutor in different categories of mathematics, english, and the sciences. I also have experience tutoring individuals with learning exceptionalities and other difficulties.
I offer test prep tutoring, state test tutoring, long-term tutoring, and essay proofreading and editing services. I have a passion to watch the growth of my students in their time with me, and do my absolute best at helping them achieve their goals.
I graduated salutatorian of my highschool class, with awards in math, science, and english. I have also competed locally, state-wide, and nationally in several academic and engineering competitions.
Oh! I am also pretty fun to talk to and like to make things interesting! Relating to my students is the best way to help them learn.
Hope to help you, your friend, or your child ACE those difficult subjects!
If you are looking for someone to full-time homeschool, I am available for in-person in Nacogdoches and surrounding areas including Lufkin.
Building relationships and being able to laugh together! and learn. But also laugh!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When working with a new student, I like to create tests based on the students grade level to assess their gaps and strengths. I also like to ask the student what they think they need the most help with. Of course! I always do icebreakers so my student and I can get to know eachother. Learning flourishes when you build a good relationship!
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I want all students to have access to academic help when they need it. Pricing is negotiable by family need.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with preschool, elementary, middle, highschool, and college students. Many of the students that I have worked with have learning exceptionalities such as dyslexia, dyscalculia, ADD/ADHD, and SPD. I have also worked with English as a Second Language students.
