Hello! My name is Jarrett and I am from Tyler, TX. I am currently an undergraduate student at Texas A&M going into my junior year. I graduated from Grace Community High School in 2021. I am studying Economics, a math oriented major, with a 3.7 GPA. Can assist with Elementary/Junior High math courses, along with reading and composition as well. I have worked with other young students with multiplication all the way to algebra 1. Very driven and love to help others when it comes to academics. Can also do virtual learning via Zoom.

I am currently a recent graduate in Petroleum Engineering. I have been a grader for an Engineering Chemistry class at Texas A&M Galveston. I love tutoring because you get to help students succeed, and that feeling when they achieve their goals is so rewarding. As an engineering student, it was a requirement that I am proficient in math. I was a top student in high school for Algebra 1 and 2, and I made an A in both Calculus I and II in college. I have always had a strong interest in American History and Politics. I have received high scores on the CLEP Exams for US History 1 and 2, and I passed the AP Exam for AP US Government and Politics

I completed my degree in Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Mathematics as Magna Cum Laude and blessed with various awards including Special Academic Citation, Best Practice Teacher, Best Demonstration Teaching, and Best Thesis, among others. Fortunately, I graduated Valedictorian and received highest awards when I finished high school. I have been teaching different Math subjects since 2015. I am a licensed professional teacher who is committed to help my students, whether talented or struggling. I love seeing the kids learn and grow. Hello! I have a Bachelor’s in Physics with a minor in Art and Mathematics as well as a Master’s in Business Administration. I currently work full time as a Project Manager with my PMP certification and am also a wife and step-mom to 2 kids. I have been a math/science tutor for 10 or so years and am also the child of an Educator, so learning and teaching has always been a big part of my life.
